This is one of three releases in the Balvenie Stories Range – a fourteen year old peaty single malt. Inspired by a trip to Islay, Distillery Manager Ian Millar installed a peat burner in the distillery and for one week of the year, using Speyside peat, the distillery create peaty whisky. Giving the classic Balvenie profile fragrant, smoky notes.

The Balvenie 16 Year Old French Oak is a vibrant single malt finished in casks that previously held wine from the french charentes vineyards. The first phase of maturation involves marrying the spirit with American Oak Casks, this brings an abundance of vanilla spice and warm honey notes. The second phase is finishing the maturation in Pineau casks, creating notes of energizing grapefruit, geranium and ginger. 70cl 47.6%

The Balvenie 17 Year Old The Week of Peat boasts flavors of butterscotch, honey, florals, citrus, and vanilla sweetness at a robust 49.4% ABV, with no chill filtration. This whisky offers a delightful blend of sweetness and creaminess, complemented by an enticing hint of peat smoke on the nose.
