This 15 year old whisky embodies the ingenuity and the inventiveness of the Glenfiddich Distillery. Inspired by Spanish sherry bodegas, we marry, mellow and intensify our malts in large oak Solera vats to create deeper, warmer flavours. Never emptied, they host an infinity of malts, for complexity and harmony.
Nose – Heather honey, vanilla fudge and rich dark fruits on the nose.
Palate – Layers of sherried oak, marzipan, cinnamon and ginger. A rich and sweet finish. -

Nose: Loads of fruit. Zesty grapefruit, baked toffee apples. Dry, chocolate Flake-y wood and cinnamon.
Palate: Candied fruits and Glenfiddich freshness balances richer notes of dried apricot, more cinnamon and toffee, ginger and dry Sherry.
Finish: Peels and a touch of salted toffee.

Patiently mellowed for 21 years in scotland, it starts quiet, restrained but Rich with a defiant glenfiddich distillery DNA. Only when it has reached perfection does it get its time to shine. Finished in caribbean reserva rum casks to add sharp Ginger, sultry fig and uplifting lime notes that build to a crescendo of sweet toffee and spicy exotic warmth. Patiently matured for 21 years at the glenfiddich distillery, it is an exquisite, traditional speyside whisky, Rich and ripe with Glenfiddich signature notes. But rather than bottle it, as other distillers would, Glenfiddich malt master, Brian kinsman, hand picks selected barrels and adds a sublime finishing touch.
Colour – Dark Gold
Nose – Intense sweet vanilla, Foral, hints of banana, figs, rich toffee, new leather and oak.
Taste – Initially soft, then brisk. Peppery, a touch of smoke, oak, lime, ginger and spices.

The second experiment of the series took place privately at Glenfiddich Conval warehouse. Shrouded in secrecy, Malt Master Brian Kinsman invited 20 whisky experts from around the world to select any expression of their choosing from thousands of stacked casks. The final 20 chosen malts, matured in everything from port pipes to virgin bourbon barrels, have created an unusual, untraditional and unexpected whisky, one that has exceeded their greatest expectations.
