As a member of the Black Bottle Alchemy Series, this blended Scotch whisky undergoes a unique process, where grain whiskies are granted a seven-month finish in Andean oak casks, hailing from the native forests of Colombia and Panama. The nose is greeted by an enticing medley of dense smoke, iodine, candied hazelnuts, figs, fudge, and warming baking spices. The palate resonates with layers of vanilla, honey, smoky toffee, nutmeg, cinnamon, and dark chocolate, all interwoven with a delicate thread of soft smoke that persists seamlessly into the finish.
