The Broody Hen blended scotch whisky takes its name from a peculiar tradition from the 17th century. In order to avoid the high taxation, distillers would go to great lengths to hide their produce. Casks were smuggling in funeral corteges, whilst bottles find their way into the nests of broody hens. The spirit itself features delicately light honey and butterscotch aromas on the nose. The palate is treated to bursts of delectable caramel, vanilla and manuka honey. a kick of spice like french toast with a sprinkle of cinnamon finishes off this lowland blend. 70cl 40% ABV.
