Product Information
18 Year Old is one of Bunnahabhain’s most awarded Single Malts. This is a rich mahogany malt that is non-chill filtered and natural colour. On the nose it is fragrant with notes of dried fruit, rich honeyed nuts, toffee and slight hints of spice.The Palate is treated to notes of mellow sherried nuts, dried fruit and rich oak and this is accompanied by a dry fruit finish with a hint of spice and salt.

Nose – Sweet briny smokiness with a distinctly island character that hints at antiseptic, creasote, wax polish, mint chocolate and floral seaside aromas.
Palate – Tantalisingly sweet yet medicinal flavours release sparks of spicy pepper with peaty smoke and vanilla malty creaminess.
Finish – Spicy white pepper and sweet vibrant liquorice and cloves with a lingering saltiness.

Nose – Very sweet on the nose. Initially it is all creme caramel, caramelised fruit sugars, wood sugar, toffee and fudge before some apple and peach come through. In time a charred note of bourbon with a pleasing dusty dryness.
Palate – A sweet start on the palate. The alcohol gives a little tongue-tingling buzz the result is a good mid-palate weight. The dry distillery character is there still, but there is now depth to counter. Water slightly dismantles the different elements, but adds some dried mint.
Finish – A deep and dark finish.
