A harmonious marriage of two sister casks, 18/961 and 18/962, initially seasoned with peated new make spirit before finding their home in Hungarian Tokaji hogsheads. After 2 years and 8 months of primary maturation and an additional 2 years and 8 months of secondary aging, this unique expression unveils a captivating blend of flavors. The rich barbecue smoke from their peated single malt beautifully complements the dark fruit and spice notes derived from new American white oak, while the intensely thick and honeyed fruity characteristics from the Tokaji finish shine through. Experience a symphony of flavors, including candied orange peel, sweet tropical smoke, dried apricot, cashew nut, manuka honey, and dark chocolate, all in this exceptional release from Glasgow 1770.

Nose: Candied orange peel, Seville marmalade, rich vanilla and sweet smoky tropical fruits; grilled pineapple, ripe mango and dried apricots.

Palate: Creamy and thick, with notes of vanilla custard, manuka honey, cashew nuts and a rich fruity undertone throughout.

Finish: Fruity and long -lasting with more apricot, a subtle wisp of smoke and a dark chocolate delicate bitterness.
