Product Information
This six year old release from The Glasgow Distillery showcases their fruity unpeated singlemalt with a rare Hungarian sweet wine cask influence. Initially matured within first fill ex-bourbon casks, this release has undergone an extended secondary maturation of 3 years and 6 months withinTokaji wine casks to offer notes of tropical mango, pineapple orange, driedapricot, cashew nuts, manuka honey, and nutmeg spice. 54.8% ABV, 1300 bottles, 700ml
Nose: Notes of rich tropical fruit, oranges, dried apricots and soft toffee,accompanied by hints of floral jasmine.
Palate: Rich and robust packed with tropical fruit and notes of floral honeyed sweetness combined with mango, pineapple, orange peel and a hint of nutmeg and cinnamon spice.
Finish: Ripe fruit influence, creamy cashew nuts,planed oak, and a lasting soft peppery spice
