Product Information
The Sauternes Cask Matured limited edition has matured in ex-Sauternes wine casks and is bottled at 50% ABV. Anthony Wills, Kilchoman Founder, selected a combination of fresh and refill Sauternes barriques from 2017 and 2018, achieving a balance of buttery sweetness, barbecued pineapple, candied ginger, and floral peat smoke. The nose reveals creamy, buttery notes with ripe fruits, a hint of salty sea air, and subtle peat smoke. On the palate, butterscotch and floral notes blend with tropical and candied fruits, integrated with flowing peat smoke. The sweetness carries through to the finish, balanced with clean lingering smoke and a rich texture.
