Nose – Pineapple chunks and white grapes. Hints of fresh coffee carry the earthy, subtly spicy peat. Toffee cubes.
Palate – More light fruits (this time of the peach variety), with dark chocolate raisins and a whisper of red berries. Peat grows and grows, with a little black pepper too.
Finish – Quite long with coastal peat lasting.
Nose – Single malt whiskey with a distinctive character with hints of smoke and peat.
Palate – Light floral notes, with hints of honeyed cereal.
Finish – Lovely soft rounded finish.
Nose – An elegant nose with hints of oak driving the bouquet. Interesting creme brulee notes leading to generous caramelised fruits and finally polished oak.
Palate – Sweet and concentrated start with some jammy blackcurrant fruitines. Typical tightening towards the back palate.
Finish – Clean and initially sweet.
