The second in Lochlea’s annual series of Cask Strength bottlings, this limited-edition whisky is bottled straight from the cask at 60% ABV. Matured in a mix of Oloroso sherry, STR, and PX casks selected by Production Director John Campbell from their Ayrshire warehouse, Batch 2 offers a fresh experience from the Lowland distillery, opening with aromas of apples, peaches, and marmalade, revealing floral flavors of wild lavender and rose petals, and finishing with black pepper and additional fruity notes.
