A cask aged Scottish pot distilled rum, made from scratch in Dumfries & Galloway, and matured for at least one year in American oak standard barrels.
Tasting notes: sweet, butterscotch, caramel, toffee, chocolate, oak, vanilla, banana.
Nose – Citrus and ripening peaches is softened by the aroma of vanilla.
Palate – Vanilla is detected on the tongue before it ripples along the palate bringing a burst of flowery fruitiness.
Finish – A mature spirit that is soft, mellow and creamy.
Nose – Coconut oil, honey, lemon zest, dried oak.
Palate – Toffee apples, ginger, orange, shortbread taste with a hint of sherry, soft oak and cinnamon spice.
Finish – Very well balanced finish.
