Elevated to a robust 46% strength, Penderyn Portwood underwent its maturation phase in bourbon casks, followed by a refined finish in port barrels. The outcome is a luxuriously creamy and opulent whisky, graced with enticing hints of honey and a subtle infusion of spices.
NOSE: Rich dried fruits with dark chocolate and cranberries; a hint of toasty oak mingles with a baked nutty dryness.
PALATE: A creamy richness with some honey and spiced notes emerging.
FINISH: Smooth with a soft oak and honey sweetness lingering gently on the tongue.
