The Port of Leith Distillery want to produce outstanding single malt whisky and to do that they need to find some very special barrels to mature their whisky, and they began by looking for very special producers. Established 1727 , Martha’s family has specialised in producing the finest, complex tawny ports from the Douro Valley for generations. Matured in old oak barrels, this port has incredibly fresh and vibrant red fruit flavours underpinned by delicate nutty, toasted notes. One day you may find these flavours swirling through Port of Leith whisky.
