This limited release features a precious few individually numbered bottles, drawn from select casks held in reserve. It commemorates the day Queen Victoria first visited the Lochnagar Distillery in September 1848 and issued a royal warrant to what is today the Royal Lochnagar Distillery. Deep amber in colour, this edition is a combination of matured refill and bodega ex-sherry casks. It offers a complex nose with toffee notes and a freshness that balances the wood. The exquisite single malt has a smooth mouthfeel with a hint of sweetness, resulting in a subtle, elegant, and well-rounded character. 1 of 3000 bottles.
