With a high malt content of 47%, including aged glenallachie and a peated islay single malt as Part of the blend, this small batch release has been carefully crafted by master blender, Billy Walker. With an extraordinary 50-year tenure in scotch whisky under his belt, he expertly sourced the finest whiskies from across scotland, in pursuit of a superbly harmonious expression which strikes the perfect balance of sweet and gentle peat.
Once skilfully blended, the whisky was filled into specially selected Pedro ximénez and oloroso puncheons, along with appalachian virgin oak casks, and laid down at the glenallachie distillery to rest and marry, amplifying the flavour experience.
