Derived from spirits matured in a delightful fusion of Oloroso sherry butts and ex-bourbon quarter casks, this single malt whisky has aged just over seven years. Meticulously hand-selected, this cask pairing has achieved an astonishing feat, resulting in a velvety-smooth and well-balanced character. To fully accentuate the flavors, Wolfburn has opted to bottle it at cask strength.
Nose: Fresh bourbon with sweet sherry essence, hints of toffee, and caramel.
Taste: Chocolate truffles meet sticky toffee pudding and trifle sponge, overlaid with gentle peat smoke. Rich and sumptuous.
Finish: Caramel sweetness, toffee, demerara sugar, and lingering peat smoke.
