The Pogues Irish Whiskey is loaded with a lot of character, much like the band itself. Strong malt, citrus and cracked black pepper greet you on the nose which carries onto the palate, joining a sweetness laced with nutmeg. It is a small batch whiskey, blended of malt and grain whiskey and made using pure Irish spring water and Irish barley, malted on site at the West Cork Distillery.

The Official Whiskey Made In Collaboration With The Band
Nose – Simple Cereal Notes. Malted Milk Biscuits. Perhaps Some Wine Notes – Chardonnay, Definitely.
Palate – A Lot Like A Reduced Cider. A Lot Of Esters And Apple Notes. But Actually They Develop Slowly To Become More Honeyed, More Like Mead. Chardonnay. Milk Chocolate. Touches Of Pink Grapefruit.
Finish – Some Warmth Towards The End, But Not A Huge Amount. Nutmeg And Ginger, In Very Small Amounts. Medium To Short Finish.
