Product Information
Lochlea Smoke Without Fire is a delicately smoky addition to the distillery’s new Single Estate core range, crafted entirely from home-grown barley and matured on-site in Ayrshire. Bottled at 46% ABV with natural colour and no chill filtration, it is matured in a combination of ex-peated refill bourbon barrels and red wine casks, creating a balance of soft red fruits, floral sweetness and gentle bonfire smoke. The nose opens with red berries, cherry blossom, lemon peel and subtle smoke, leading to a palate of sea spray, oak, citrus and delicate fruit, before finishing with light char, soft blossom and lingering fresh phenols.
