This exquisite single malt has been crafted from peated spirit and four cask matured for at least thirty years in sherry casks, bourbon barrels, virgin oak casks and port casks from the Douro Valley. During long maturation Benriach’s sweet Speyside smoke mellows and integrates with the fruit, malt and oak. After thirty years, rich layering develops into sublime honeyed smoke, further enhanced through multi-layered cask maturation. The whisky from each cask type, imbued with particular flavour characteristics, is then expertly married together to create an exquisitely harmonious single malt, layered with dark fruits, rich walnut and velvety oak spice with a long, complex, smoked honey finish. All in perfect balance.

With whiskies dating back to 1968, there’s a diverse selection of barrels, hogsheads, puncheons, and butts available. Each cask boasts unique characteristics, and the Single Malt Scotch Whisky inside matures exceptionally during the aging process. GlenDronach’s rich colour comes solely from the cask wood, deepening over time.

Nose: Sherry soaked bramble, orange and sultana with chocolate praline, demerara and morello cherry fruitcake.

This 2021 bottling of Glengoyne 30-Year-Old sees the introduction of new sustainable and recyclable packaging from the Highland distillery. The sherry casks used here are specially made and prepared for Glengoyne since the increase in popularity of sherry maturation has reduced the numbers available. These first-fill oloroso casks are used in combination with refill casks already used at Glengoyne and the result is astounding. This new facelift packaging from Glengoyne has the bottle now presented in a beautifully crafted wooden box with a brass clasp and an accompanying plaque which you can get engraved.

THE ESSENCE OF TIME – The 2023 Release Glenturret 30 Years Old is derived from a search for specific flavours which were found in five precious older casks.
European oak imparts a traditional rich fruit flavour combined with hints of brandy and ginger. A port pipe imbues a warm ruby hue and touches of red fruits. Sweeter notes of tropical fruit and bananas inspired by the character of Glenturret new make spirit are added by two American oak hogsheads.
This whisky is in deference to the skills retained within the walls of The Glenturret. Even when creating thier oldest whiskies, the respect for thiertraditional production methods is always at the forefront of thinking.
