This non-aged-statement single malt whisky, made from malted barley grown in Punjab and matured in ex-bourbon barrels, showcases distinct spice and ripe fruit aromas. The nose offers a sweet blend of candy necklaces, honeysuckle, and a touch of sour lemon. On the palate, a initial creaminess gives way to a mix of sweet and sour fruit, including apples, pears, pineapple, mango, and hints of banana, followed by a backdrop of sharp clove spice and tannic fruit skin dryness. The finish is very long, with a sweet and grainy character complemented by damp leaves and liquorice. Overall, it’s a fresh and fruity whisky with a delightful depth of darkness and spice.
