Clydebuilt 2012 Oloroso Single Cask is a Speyside single malt selected by Ardgowan’s whisky maker, Laura Davies, for the Clydebuilt collection. Distilled in 2012 and matured in a single oloroso sherry hogshead, it was bottled at a powerful 59% ABV with just 342 bottles released. The nose opens with rich layers of sherried fruit, spice, and oak, leading to a palate of figs, dates, dark chocolate, and gentle baking spice. The finish lingers with fruit cake, nutmeg warmth, oak char, and biscuity malt.
