The origins of this Islay Single Malt remains a mystery, bottled at 58% by Finlaggan’s owners – the Vintage Malt Whisky Company.
Nose: sweet peatiness with salty, smoky notes.
Palate: malt sweetness at first followed by a huge intensity of peat. Slightly oily with a breath of seaweed and some pepper.
Finish: Big and warming. Sea salt and lingering peat smoke.
