Fonseca Tawny Port is aged for a minimum of three years in small wooden casks, allowing it to develop its signature warm amber hue and rich, mellow character. During maturation, the wine gradually loses its ruby colour while gaining depth and complexity. Before bottling, the individual wines are expertly blended to create perfect harmony. Expect luscious jammy notes of ripe fruit, complemented by hints of apricot and plum, leading to a softly acidic, balanced finish. Bottled at 20% ABV in a 50cl format, this Tawny Port is smooth, versatile, and ideal for sipping or pairing with desserts.
