Jura 2007 17 Year Old ‘Second Murderer’ is a limited single malt from the Macbeth Act 2 series, independently bottled and matured exclusively in Oloroso sherry hogsheads. Distilled on the Isle of Jura and bottled at cask strength, this Islands whisky represents the Second Murderer character from Macbeth with a brooding and atmospheric profile. Gently smoky and oily, it reveals notes of damp wood, wet wool, and bracken, with subtle sweetness from the sherry influence. A dark, reflective dram with depth and intensity, echoing the chilling poetry of Shakespeare’s tragedy.
