Mossburn Distillers & Blenders Ltd has released a 12-year-old Speyside blended malt, finished in Calvados casks from the historic Domaine Dupont. This limited-edition whisky, bottled at 57.2% ABV, is part of Mossburn’s Cask Collaboration Series and follows 2023’s successful Foursquare release. Aged initially in ex-bourbon casks, the whisky gains unique character from a secondary maturation in French oak Calvados barrels, highlighting heathery and floral notes with hints of spiced baked apples. This release celebrates Mossburn’s decades-long friendship with Dupont, renowned for its world-class Calvados production.
