Glentauchers 15 Year Old #8539953 is a limited edition Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from Duncan Taylor’s esteemed Octave series. Distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2023 at 54.2% ABV, this expression was matured for 15 years in oak casks before spending a final three months in a smaller octave cask, intensifying its character. Only 79 bottles were produced. The nose reveals cinnamon, orange peel, dark chocolate, red apple skins, and tropical fruit. The palate follows with vanilla, caramel, Bakewell tart, pecan, nutmeg, and oak char, while the finish lingers with gentle spice and glazed cherries.
