Battlehill Tamnavulin 12 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Duncan Taylor portfolio, named after the historic Battlehill near Huntly, a site known for clan skirmishes and resistance against Sassenach neighbours. Distilled at Tamnavulin Distillery in the Speyside region, this expression has been aged for 12 years in oak casks and is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl format. It offers a classic Speyside character with the added depth and heritage reflected in the Battlehill name.

Matured in American Oak barrels and finished in Sherry casks, this single malt has a mellow taste with a rich smooth sherry finish. Set on the banks of the Corrie stream and the River Livet, Tamnavulin Distillery draws its water from underground springs in the Easterton Hills. Formed by snowmelt from the surrounding mountains, this water is naturally filtered though ancient limestone rock.

Matured in American oak barrels and finished in French Cabernet Sauvignon Red Wine Casks to complement the sweet mellow taste of Tamnavulin.
Colour: Tawny gold
Nose: Opulent floral aromas fuse with orchard fruits, lime marmalade, cinnamon spice, poached pear and almonds.
Palate: Cascading flavours of nectarines, damson plums and gingerbread give way to sweet red berries and banana bread.
