Bottled at 46% ABV, uncoloured and non-chill filtered, it offers aromas of cooked fruits, cinnamon pastries, glace cherries, dark chocolate and clove spice. The palate reveals baked strawberry, stewed rhubarb, vanilla custard, sweet nougat, candied almonds and cocoa, leading to a nutty, warming finish with coffee cake, ripe brambles, walnuts and lingering dark chocolate.
