Named after Battlehill near Huntly, a historic site known for clan skirmishes and resistance against Sassenach neighbours, this expression offers a bold and balanced dram. The nose opens with inviting notes of butterscotch, fresh orchard fruits, and a hint of zesty lemon curd. On the palate, rich crème caramel and buttery shortbread are complemented by the sweetness of stewed apples. The finish is warm and lasting, with toasted oak, vanilla, sweet spices, ginger, and cloves.
