Product Information
Glencadam Amarone Wine Cask Finish is a Highland single malt produced in small batches, initially matured in exceptional American oak ex-bourbon casks within the distillery’s historic dunnage warehouses. It is then finished in select Amarone wine casks from Italy, adding rich complexity. Bottled at 46% ABV, it opens with sweet aromas of cherry jam, marzipan, fruit nougat and pistachio, laced with baking spices. The palate reveals red fruits, crystallised ginger and strawberry liquorice, layered with oak spice, candied peels and cacao, leading to a lingering finish of cappuccino, dark chocolate, Morello cherry and raspberry jam with warming wood spice.
