2024 marks the 40th anniversary of Midleton Very Rare. For this special release, Master Distiller Kevin O’Gorman has crafted a whiskey true to the Midleton profile, with a subtle twist. Presented in a stunning glass decanter and sustainable display case, it’s bottled at 40% ABV.
Nose: Rich vanilla with floral and herbal notes, developing aromas of ripe apple and sweet pear.
Palate: Silky smooth with tropical fruits, crème brûlée, toffee apple, and chocolate-dipped honeycomb. Delicate floral grains and pot still spices blend with charred oak.
Finish: Long and fruity.
