Ben Nevis 2013 9 Year Old is a Highland single malt from the Single Malts of Scotland series, bottled by Elixir Distillers as part of Parcel 12. This small batch release is drawn from four refill butts filled in 2013 and bottled in 2023 at 48% ABV, with no added colour and no chill filtration. Rich and full-bodied, it opens with aromas of dusty dark chocolate, sultanas, and dried mango with hazelnuts. The palate is thick and indulgent, offering notes of charred marshmallow, kirsch chocolates, almonds, and dried fruits, leading to a lingering finish of mango and mandarin. A bold and satisfying dram.
