Barceló Imperial Premium Blend 40 Aniversario is a limited-edition rum created to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the iconic Barceló Imperial. This special blend is crafted from past reserves, matured in carefully selected American and French oak barrels with varying toast levels, before being rested in European vats. The result is a bright coppery-brown rum with harmonious aromas of crème brûlée, caramelised raisins, dried spices and cherries. Smooth and semi-dry on the palate, it reveals layers of nutty spice from fine European wood, leading to a long, elegant finish with notes of pepper leaf and tobacco. Perfectly suited to pairing with fine cigars, aged cheeses, elegant desserts, dark chocolate and select cuts of red meat.
