Product Information
GlenAllachie has taken great care in handpicking top-tier Chinquapin virgin oak barrels sourced from the Northern Ozark region in Missouri, known for their exceptional capacity to impart a spicy character to the whisky. In their pursuit of a distinct flavor profile, GlenAllachie opted for mainland peat from St. Fergus, which originates from the gradual decay of trees, diverging from the conventional use of seaweed and other flora. This choice results in a sweeter smoke that harmonizes seamlessly with their signature style.
Nose – Smoldering oak embers, burnt liquorice and honey, with ginger, butterscotch and orange peel.
Palate – Cocoa, crème brûlée and toasted almonds, with cinnamon, aniseed and campfire smoke.
