Paying homage to Cornwall’s history of brandy famous smugglers, Pocketful of Stones have formed thier own motley crew of loveable rogues, including Skreach, Jonathan Gould, and Bearded Brewery, to bring you multiple variants of the Smugglers Reserve Cornish Cider Brandy.
After bootlegging the finest cider from around the county, they get to work double distilling in Jackson, the copper pot still. The distillate is then left to mature in a variety of oak casks on the wild Cornish coast. The result is a smooth modern take on this classic and much-loved spirit.

Crusty Juggler take their superb, aged base rum and blend it with Demerara sugar and black strap molasses. Then they macerate it with fresh pineapple until it’s tasting juuuuust right, before bottling, labeling, and waxing it by hand. The resulting nectar has aromas of bright, fresh pineapple nestled amongst creamy fudge, with a touch of stone fruits like peach and mango. Subtle notes of banana and treacly molasses can also be detected. The palate is full and lush, with the molasses providing a rich texture and earthy, dark fruit notes, while the bucket loads of pineapple take a back seat. This is first and foremost a ‘RUM’, with fudgy, vanilla, and oaky notes from cask that can be tasted before the fresh, tropical pineapple wave rounds it all off. It can be enjoyed sipped neat, but it also mixes incredibly well with ginger beer or in any tropical cocktail.

This unique addition from Pocketful of Stones Distillery has been a labour of love dating back to the spring of 2018. Squid Ink is such a powerful ingredient that only a minimal amount is needed both for the distilling and colour or infusion of the gin. Vanilla was added to the base of the recipe to give a well rounded mouthfeel and perceived sweetness , coupled with sea buckthorn for a tart, fresh fruit finish.
Dr Squid pours black and when mixed with tonic turns a vivid pink. It also makes for a great Gin Mule when poured over crushed ice and ginger beer.

This exceptional offering is the result of a collaboration with the Orendain family of Jalisco, Mexico. Following its creation, the tequila is then aged in Mezcal Barrels on the untamed shores of Cornwall.
The name ‘Lost Mexican’ pays homage to Stanley Kiernan, the son of a Cornish distiller, who ventured to central Mexico during the early 1800s. There, he developed a deep affection for the country, its people, and the local botanicals.

The First Born. Born in West Penwith, with inspiration taken from the surrounding Atlantic Ocean. Of all her moods it’s those clear, fresh spring mornings that please the most. Crisp and refreshing served with tonic, charming in a Martini and captivating in a Negroni. A classic dry gin, with loads of floral (hibiscus flowers) and citrus notes (lemon and orange peel, lemon grass, lemon verbena), a freshness (Japanese tea), length and long sherbety finish (gorse and orris). The Cornish Dry is perfect served with premium tonic, garnished with a twist of orange. Keep the garnish simple so that the flavours and aromas of the gin stand out. Can be perfectly served in a classic negroni or a dry martini.

A refreshing take on the Cornish Dry. Designed to amplify those hot, long summer days spent in the sun with family and friends. The Caspyn Cornish Dry has been infused with fresh English cucumbers. Midsummer Gin has a slight green hint to it from the natural ingredients being used (no sign of essences being used here!), yet still has all the hall-marks of the Cornish Dry Gin but with added extra earthy notes.
It is a mellow, refreshing drink. Perfectly served with good tonic water and slice of cucumber and / or mint for an extra fresh zing

The Modern Classic
First discovered by St. Thomas Aquinas in 1265 by divine intervention, Dandelion and Burdock is a proven flavour combination that has stood the test of time. Pocketful of Stones Distillery have taken fresh north country dandelion blooms and wild-foraged Burdock and carefully distilled them with their favourite combination of botanicals to create a smooth, contemporary gin built on the backbone of British tradition. The Darling of the North. Dandelion and Burdock is a favourite flavour combination. They haave taken the earthy flavours of the roots of these botanicals and distilled them with locally foraged heather, honeybush to add a floral lift and cola nut and almond to bind the flavours with orris root to add length. A classic dry gin when served with tonic water, but if you’re after that old school northern fish and chip shop Dandelion and Burdock serve with ginger ale / or D&B soda.
Our favourite cocktail with this gin is the bramble. The sweetness from the blackberry liqueur perfectly balances the earthy notes of the D&B roots and cola nut.

Pockerful of Stones Distillery have taken the archetypal flavour of the Seville orange and distilled it with a gorgeous combination of botanicals, infused more Seville Orange peel and then added a slight sweetness to create a citrus-forward, contemporary gin built on the backbone of British tradition. Old Tom Gin, as a style, is a little sweeter than a London Dry. This is no exception, but not too sweet to put off the gin purists out there. They have upped the ante on their dry gin with added seville orange peel, a little star anise and some liquorice root at the point of distillation; then infused the gin with traditional marmalade for two weeks and brought the ABV down to 40% with hand squeezed orange juice.
The result is a smooth, citrus forward gin with mouthfeel well rounded enough to drink by itself, with tonic, in a Negroni or, in the cold of winter, a Marmalade Hot Toddy.
