The classic expression of Arran – the fresh and unique island style is captured beautifully in this 10 Year Old Single Malt. The initial rush of rich vanilla sweetness gives way to a touch of cinnamon which adds a spicy edge to the soft and sweet texture. The classic Arran citrus notes have rounded with age and reveal new depths of character against a background of sweet oak.

Nose – Huge smoke, seaweedy, “medicinal” with a hint of sweetness.
Palate – Deep, complex and smoky yet offers and surprises the palate with a gentle sweetness. Hints of the first aid box (TCP).
Finish – Big and drying, as the savoury, tarry notes build up with an iodine complexity.

Edradour Is One Of Scotland’s Smallest Distilleries And At The Heart Of The Range, This 10 Year Old Eastern Highlander Is A Rather Unique Single Malt, A Decidedly Rum-Like Dram With A Thick Mouthfeel. The Ten Year Old Edradour Is Handmade And One Of The Last Single Malt Whiskies From A Traditional Farm Distillery Still In Production Today. The Methods Of Production Remain Virtually Unchanged In The Last 150 Years And Are Only Just Capable Of Commercial Quantities. Indeed Edradour Distillery Makes As Much Whisky In A Year As Most Distilleries Produce In A Week. A Rare Pleasure For A Fortunate Few.
