The Sassenach Blended Scotch Whisky is a refined and contemporary blend that marries Single Malts aged between nine and twelve years with a 21-year-old Organic Single Grain whisky. Matured in bourbon casks and finished in Madeira wood, it delivers bright fruit notes balanced by smooth depth and gentle spice. The Madeira influence adds richness, sweetness, and elegant complexity. Bottled at 46% ABV without chill-filtration or added colour, The Sassenach showcases exceptional craftsmanship and authenticity in every sip.

The classic expression of Arran – the fresh and unique island style is captured beautifully in this 10 Year Old Single Malt. The initial rush of rich vanilla sweetness gives way to a touch of cinnamon which adds a spicy edge to the soft and sweet texture. The classic Arran citrus notes have rounded with age and reveal new depths of character against a background of sweet oak.
Nose – An elegant nose with hints of oak driving the bouquet. Interesting creme brulee notes leading to generous caramelised fruits and finally polished oak.
Palate – Sweet and concentrated start with some jammy blackcurrant fruitines. Typical tightening towards the back palate.
Finish – Clean and initially sweet.
